2. Prices
All prices in the online store are listed in Danish kroner (DKK) and include 25% VAT, unless otherwise stated.
ScanTherm ApS reserves the right to make changes to prices and taxes, and to correct printing errors, typing errors, out-of-stock items, and technical errors on the website.
If, contrary to expectations, an item cannot be delivered at the listed price or is out of stock, we will contact the customer as soon as possible before the order is processed.
3. Payment
ScanTherm ApS accepts the payment methods listed in the online store at the time of order.
Payment can be made using Visa, Mastercard, and other payment methods offered in the online store.
When paying via Klarna, Klarna’s own payment and credit terms apply, which the customer accepts at the time of payment.
Payment will not be charged until the item is shipped from our warehouse.
When paying with a debit or credit card, the amount is reserved on the customer's account in accordance with the card issuer's rules. The reservation is automatically released if the order is canceled or not completed.
All payments are processed via a secure SSL-encrypted connection through Pensopay.
4. Delivery
We strive to deliver in-stock items within 1–3 business days.
If the delivery time is longer than expected, we will contact the customer as soon as possible.
Smaller items are shipped via GLS to a package pickup location.
Larger items are delivered on pallets by Danske Fragtmænd.
Current shipping rates are listed in the online store when you place your order.
For deliveries via Danske Fragtmænd, the recipient must be present at the delivery address or must have agreed in advance that the item may be left without a receipt.
5. Transfer of Risk
Risk for the goods passes to the customer upon delivery.
If the customer has agreed to delivery without a receipt, the risk passes to the customer once the carrier has delivered the item to the agreed-upon address.
6. Right of Withdrawal
When purchasing as a private consumer, the customer has a 14-day right of withdrawal in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Act.
The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day on which the customer or a person designated by the customer received the item.
A request to exercise the right of withdrawal must be submitted in writing to:
info@scantherm.dk
The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs.
Refunds will be issued no later than 14 days after ScanTherm ApS has received the returned item or proof that the item has been shipped.
7. Returns
Returns must always be agreed upon in writing with ScanTherm ApS before the item is returned.
Items returned without prior agreement may be refused or returned at the customer's expense.
Return Address:
ScanTherm ApS
Saltebakken 29
9900 Frederikshavn
The item must be returned properly packaged.
If a package is not picked up at the package shop and is therefore returned to ScanTherm ApS, we reserve the right to charge the actual costs for return shipping as well as any new shipping charges.
8. Condition of the item upon return
The customer is only liable for any loss in value resulting from handling other than that necessary to determine the nature, characteristics, and functionality of the item.
If the item has been used beyond this, the loss in value may be deducted from the refund amount.
9. Complaints
A 24-month warranty is provided in accordance with the provisions of the Sale of Goods Act.
The right to file a complaint covers defects resulting from material or manufacturing defects.
The warranty does not cover defects or damage resulting from improper installation, misuse, inadequate maintenance, normal wear and tear, or unauthorized repairs or modifications.
In the event of a valid complaint, ScanTherm ApS will cover the reasonable shipping costs.
10. Damage During Shipping
We recommend that the customer inspect the item upon receipt.
Any visible damage caused during transport should be noted in the presence of the carrier and reported to ScanTherm ApS as soon as possible.
Any hidden damage caused during shipping should also be reported as soon as possible after it is discovered.
11. Product Information
We strive to ensure that all product descriptions, images, and technical information on the online store are accurate and up to date.
Product images are for illustrative purposes only, and minor differences between the images and the actual product may occur. The manufacturer may also change technical specifications without prior notice.
12. Installation and Commissioning
ScanTherm ApS supplies products only.
Installation, electrical and plumbing work, commissioning, and any programming are not included, unless specified in the order confirmation.
The products must be installed and used in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, as well as the included installation and operating instructions. Incorrect installation or use may affect the product’s performance, service life, and energy consumption.
13. Energy Consumption and Performance
Information on energy consumption, COP, SCOP, and capacity values, as well as other technical data, is based on standardized test conditions or the manufacturer’s specifications.
Actual energy consumption and product performance depend, among other things, on the quality of the installation, proper sizing, the building’s level of insulation, heating requirements, user settings, outdoor temperature, and other operating conditions. ScanTherm ApS therefore cannot guarantee a specific energy consumption level or a specific energy savings figure for any individual installation.
14. Sizing and Consulting
If ScanTherm ApS provides advice on product selection, this is based on the information provided by the customer.
It is therefore important that information regarding, for example, the building, the installation, and the heating requirements is accurate. If the actual conditions differ significantly from those provided, this may affect the product’s performance and energy consumption.
15. Limitation of Liability
ScanTherm ApS is not liable for indirect losses, including loss of profits, loss of revenue, or other consequential damages, unless otherwise required by mandatory Danish law.
16. Force Majeure
ScanTherm ApS cannot be held liable for failure to fulfill its obligations due to circumstances beyond the company’s reasonable control, including, but not limited to, strikes, lockouts, fires, natural disasters, war, epidemics, government intervention, transportation disruptions, or supplier failures.
